COVIDsafe Plan – Essentials

Occupancy at Lorelei is currently being capped at two rooms per night to enable less sharing between guests of common lounge and dining areas and adequate distancing when guests are seated in the dining room.

ALL visitors will be required to Check-in using the Service Victoria QR Code App and to show their COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate.

Alternative dining and lounge areas have also been created.

Commonly shared ‘touchable’ surfaces are cleaned regularly throughout the day including the kettle, coffee machine, fridges, front door, lounge chairs, doorbell and EFTPOS terminal etc.

The Lounge, Dining and Games rooms all have HEPA air purifiers and windows will be open as much as practical to allow for fresh air. Hand sanitiser is located throughout the house.

Room cleaning is conducted after guests depart with full laundering of all ‘touchable’ items that can be washed. All surfaces are cleaned then sanitised, especially in the bathroom where solution is left in contact on surfaces for 10 to 20 minutes before being wiped and sanitised.

Bathroom amenities are supplied packed together in a toiletries bag which guests may keep, and new toilet rolls are provided.

‘Touchable’ areas on room curtains are sprayed with a fabric disinfectant.

Light switches, remote controls and lamp and electric blanket switches are also wiped and sanitised.

Masks are required to be worn in the common areas except when eating or drinking. All rooms are large enough to easily meet the distance and density requirements.

In accordance with the latest Open Premises Directions, my family will use a separate entrance to the building during guest stays.
